From the inside cover:
The CUBA:M3 project showcases photography of Cuba from 2017, fifty-five years after the U.S. embargo of the island nation, as Cuba normalizes into the 21st century. The project was to capture Cuba through a 55-year-old camera popular at the time, a Leica M3 rangefinder using film to mimic what would have been found in 1962. After spending time in Cuba, this publication is the culmination of that project, showcasing the photographs, printed, as they were intended to be seen.
